Latest GOP shutdown proposal fails; no separate funding for vets, parks
Tue Oct 1, 2013
Good to see the Republican Tea Baggers are out in force. Please say good-by to 2014 and 2016. 3/4 of polls now show the majority of the public (non-tea bags) blame the GOP as they should.
Cruz urges GOP unity to gut Obamacare as shutdown nears
Sun Sep 22, 2013
Jim - my whole family is independent - because of the tea bag jerks. We currently vote Democratic as we have had enough of Koch Brothers, Cruz, Palin, Rush, Baughman, Ryan and the list goes on. Once upon a time, Republicans were normal people - not now.
Obama strikes back at Congress: 'They're focused on trying to mess with me'
Fri Sep 20, 2013
Today my office closed so all of the employees could cut, chop & pack food for the hungry in our area. Our local Forgotten Harvest feeds over 120,000 people every day in my local area and they admit they don't have enough to meet the need. So these jerks want to take away food stamps from the st …
Arab states call for international action against Syrian regime
Sun Sep 1, 2013
Some intelligent discussion here but unfortunately many show how uninformed they really are. I was 100% against going into Iraq (there was no proof of WMD's and we should have finished one war before we started another etc). Now it is assumed that we are being lied to again.
Jury finds George Zimmerman not guilty
Sat Jul 13, 2013
Good to see the right wing tea bags are out once again in full force blaming the victim and blaming Obama, Liberals etc (pathetic). Sadly this was not surprise, they were never going to convict a white person shooting a black kid. Some justice. Very sad day.
Ax hovers over food stamp program as costs grow
Sun May 19, 2013
The minute the wing nuts took over, I went independent. I would not be a republican today if it was the last party on the planet. I don't even thing they are really human - just self absorbed insane POD's
Americans in denial about long-term care
Wed Apr 24, 2013
My sister and I took care of my mother until the end. Now helping dad. They were not in denial, they just were not rich. By the time Long Term Care came out, it was too expensive to purchase.
CVS to workers: Tell us how much you weigh or it'll cost you $600 a year
Wed Mar 20, 2013
Renee: I think the CEO, CFO etc could afford the extra $600 a year - not so much the $7.25 an hr employee.
Three days, two breakout stars and one Big Gulp: Eight takeaways from CPAC
Sat Mar 16, 2013
If these people are the front runners (losers), then this white, middle class, educated, christian woman will once again be voting Democratic. I had really hoped (must of been living in la la land) that the Republicans would have learned something (anything) but no so I say no to them.
Vote: Was Pope Francis a good choice?
Wed Mar 13, 2013
Though I was initially happy they picked someone outside of Europe, I see no change in message. The Church will stay back in the dark ages with no progress. I give up.
